Post Implementation Support Roles

Following are the key roles that we provide as Manpower deployment for fulfilling the requirements of our clients. A combination of all these roles is defined under a specific model (as in 2.3 above) to support Post Implementation Model for each client.

 

  • FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANTS-  They solve the client’s Functional issues, which are normally raised in the form of Problem-tickets. These tickets are further tracked and updated in the weekly status reports. These consultants are categorized under two broad heads- Senior Functional Consultants and Junior Functional Consultants (based on their experience).

            Skill Sets Offered:

            Senior Functional Consultants–

  • Minimum 3 years of functional experience with 2 years of relevant support experience inSAP
  • Functional training in customization activities.
  • Experienced in change request procedures and capable of handling user queries, independently.

            Junior Functional Consultants– Same as Senior Functional consultant but with a minimum of 1 – 2 years of       functional experience.

 

  • END USERS- They serving the client’s requirements as users who directly work for the client’s day to day activities onSAPTerminals.

             Skill Sets Offered:

  • Thorough understanding of the relevant business process and its transactions along with its impact on other areas.
  • Minimum 1 year of End User experience and a domain functional experience of around 2 years.

The End User is however mentored/supported by a relevant functional consultant from our side, whenever required.

 

  • KEY USERS- They serve the client’s requirements as intelligent users who solve day to day issues or advice best ways to ease out solutions arising from the queries of individual users. They look after a particular Business Process (like Purchasing / Accounts etc…) and other End Users, belonging to that department.

             Skill Sets Offered:

  • Thorough understanding of the relevant business process and its transactions along with its impact on other areas.
  • Minimum 2 years of End User experience and a domain Functional experience of around 2 years.

These Key Users are however mentored/supported by a relevant functional consultant from our side, whenever required.

 

  • PROJECT LEADERS/ MANAGERS- They manage a team of Functional / Technical consultants (belonging to the client or us) or a team of client End users/Key users.

             Skill Sets Offered:

  • Thorough understanding of more than one Functional background (along with a good Technical understanding).
  • Efficient managerial skills of bringing about a holistic team performance.
  • Minimum 6 years of Functional experience, in which 2 years should be of managing a Functional / Technical team.  
  • Experienced in change-request procedures and capable of independently handling user / team queries.

 

  • TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS- They are purely ABAP/4 & BASIS resources who support the relevant functions as per client’s requirements. These consultants can have two levels (based on their experience).

              Skill Sets Offered:

              Senior Technical Consultants-

  • Minimum 3 years of Technical experience with 2 years of relevant support experience inSAP.
  • Formal Technical training in ABAP/4 or BASIS (as per the requirement).
  • Capable of understanding specifications designed by the Functional Team and coordinating the same with the client’s core team.

             Junior Technical Consultants- Same as Senior Technical Consultants but with a minimum of 1-2 years of Technical experience.
